Dedicated and Patient Music Teacher

Atmos is a patient and hardworking professional teacher who has over 400+ hours of experience providing music lessons to people from many different backgrounds and ability levels, including those with visual impairment and unable to use certain fingers at all.

Atmos believes that with the right teacher and dedication, anyone can learn how to play a musical instrument and overcome the barriers holding them back. All ages and abilities are welcome.

I have an enhanced DBS certificate and an active subscription for the DBS Update Service.

In 2019, I graduated with a first-class honours degree in Music Industry Practice at the Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM), Guildford.

Previously, I have worked as a band coach for a youth project, a session musician, a music producer, and an article writer for music publications, such as Music Gateway.

I have an excellent understanding of music theory and how to apply it to guitar, bass guitar, and piano. I also have many years of experience playing these instruments and I know how to tailor lessons to help my students progress effectively.

Each session will be tailored to each individual student, which will help them to achieve their goals.

During lessons, I will cover areas such as:

•  Basic chords
•  An introduction to scales
•  How to improvise
•  Basic songwriting
•  How to play your favourite songs

Over the years, I have been involved in many projects and I have gained invaluable experience from them. Examples of these projects can be found below.

I have worked alongside several artists and bands. I have performed on many occasions with these acts and I have also been involved in the songwriting process for many of them.

Examples of these acts are: Crutch For Hire (alternative rock), Deer in the Headlights (hard rock), Downtown Roundabout (Americana), Betsa (pop), and Aeron James (country).

    Block Lesson Bookings


    Purchasing a block of lessons offers you a discounted rate while maintaining flexibility. Block bookings must be paid upfront and are non-refundable once paid.

    5% discount on block bookings of five lessons – £38.00 per lesson (£190.00 in total).

    10% discount on block bookings of ten lessons – £36.00 per lesson (£360.00 in total).

    15% discount on block bookings of fifteen lessons – £34.00 per lesson (£510.00 in total).

    20% discount on block bookings of twenty lessons – £32.00 per lesson (£640.00 in total).

Amazing teacher for bass guitar beginners 

I have been taking bass guitar lessons with no prior experience with Atmos for about two months, and it has been a great experience. He is very patient and supportive. He explains everything clearly, and on top of that he makes notes after every lesson which makes practicing easier for me. He has taught me some basic techniques and playing songs. Guitar and music theory lessons

I've had three guitar+music theory lessons with Atmos so far. And I can't wait for more! His personalised approach, his ability to listen and explain the same thing in a different way, to find a way that would work for me - it helps me feel encouraged and heard! It's a rare thing for me when I find a teacher like that, so I definitely will keep a hold of him for a while. I'm a very inconsistent person, however thanks to Atmos now I have motivation, direction and I know that any questions I have will be answered. Keyboard lessons

My son takes keyboard lessons with Atmos, having learnt for a year elsewhere. Atmos is a great teacher and my son has really progressed since starting lessons with him, and is enjoying his lessons more.
