Original Artwork: Detachment

“Detachment” is an ink drawing based on themes of mental health, addiction, and recovery. This original artwork presents recognisable human features that have been distorted and pieced together in an unusual way. The main subject uses a bold colour palette which contrasts the black and white background. “Detachment” highlights the difficulty of breaking the chains of addictive habits and impulsive behaviours. It has previously been exhibited at the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum, Criterion Theatre, and LSA Art Room.
